As Project Manager and Australian Grand Prix Equipment and Logistics Manager at the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport, Aaron Yeak is undoubtedly making a mark in his chosen field, overseeing a range of exciting events and projects.
One such project has been ‘Ignition’ – a road safety program he managed in support of the United Nations and Federation Internationale de l’Automobile’s global push to tackle the road toll.
Aaron’s leadership journey so far has been motivated by a “global view to life” – this has seen him travel the world, meet extraordinary new people, speak at an international engineering conference in New Zealand and play a key role in the Korean Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Aaron believes that one of his greatest management strengths is his empathy.
“Empathy is so important in the sports industry where we have so many wonderful volunteers. Empathy allows us to understand our people and manage the challenges we face in our organisations.”
